About The Position

Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an interest in practicing 100% Pulmonary Medicine, to join our welcoming practice in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Comprehensive specialty training provided to be successful. Provider skill mix includes 5 attendings and 3 APs. The provider primarily performs outpatient consultations and occasionally inpatient consultations, seeing general pulmonary cases such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, and post COVID complications. Outpatient appointments are 60 minutes for new patients and 30 minutes for follow-up visits. Competitive compensation plus $10k start incentive.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Certified Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities
