About The Position

Performs routine pulmonary function testing (Spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, airway resistance, thoracic gas volume, respiratory muscle strength). Performs routine exercise studies such as oxygen titration and 6-minute walks, resting energy expenditure. Performs set-up and teaching for Home Sleep testing. Trains and educates clinical staff.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree AMA approved school of respiratory care or pulmonary function technology Required
• Basic Life Support Required
• Cert Pulmonary Function Tech Required or
• Cert Respiratory Therapist Required or
• Reg Pulmonary Function Tech Required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience in pulmonary rehabilitation and/or pulmonary function testing Preferred
• General Experience in calibrating equipment, performing quality control procedures, and conducting a clinical exercise test Preferred
• Reg Respiratory Therapist Preferred
• Amer College of Sports Med. Preferred
