Summary: Perform diagnostic lung tests and blood gas analysis. Demonstrate knowledge principles of growth and development and the skills necessary to provide care for patients in the adult, adolescent, pediatric, and geriatric age groups. Experience: Prefer at least one year of intensive and general care as a respiratory therapist. Will require orientation to Guthrie Lourdes Hospital or Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. Education: Registered Respiratory Therapist with an A.S., A.A.S., or diploma from a CoARC approved program. Registry with the National Board of Respiratory Care as an RRT. B.S. degree preferred. RPFT preferred but not required. The candidate must be licensed by the state of New York.
