About The Position

We're looking for a full-time Pulmonary Diagnostic Technician to work in our Pulmonary Function Testing lab in our Lung Center! No call requirements, no nights/weekends/or holidays! GENERAL OBJECTIVES Provides specialized diagnostic procedures for all cardiopulmonary patients of all ages in compliance with department policies and procedures QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduate from an accredited NBRC school for Respiratory Care or Complete 62 semester hours of college credit from a college or university accredited by its regional association or its equivalent, including college credit level courses in biology, chemistry and mathematics. You must also have at least six months of clinical experience in the field of pulmonary function technology prior to applying for PFT Examination. Clinical experience is defined as a minimum of eight hours per week for a calendar year in pulmonary function technology under the supervision of a Medical Director of a pulmonary function laboratory or a special care area acceptable to the NBRC. Clinical experience must be completed before you apply for this examination. BLS required, ACLS certification required prior to doing CPEX testing Specialty Certification from NBRC in Diagnostic Testing within first year (CPFT, or RPFT) Licensed in State of Colorado, if a Respiratory Therapist. Experience: Three years routine and critical cardiopulmonary care for patients of all ages and education levels preferred. Experience in diagnostic modalities preferred SALARY RANGE $32.68 to $48.06/hour Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience. Requirements
