About The Position
Ballad Health Medical Associates is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician to join our established, employed practice in beautiful Abingdon, VA at Johnston Memorial Hospital. This position offers a rewarding mix of inpatient critical care and pulmonary procedures, supported by a collaborative team and advanced technology. About the Practice Join a stable, experienced group of Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians Mix of ICU coverage and inpatient consultations Advanced procedures available: EBUS and robotic bronchoscopy Full specialty support within the hospital Teach medical students and train FM/IM residents as faculty from in-house residency programs Ability to pick up extra shifts at other Ballad Health facilities Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package Signing bonus & retention bonus Student loan repayment assistance Relocation assistance CME reimbursement Comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Work-life balance in a family-friendly community About the Schedule Average 15 twelve-hour shifts per month with 7 on/7 off rotation No night call
Requirements
- BE/BC in Pulmonary & Critical Care
- Skilled in advanced bronchoscopies (EBUS, robotics) or willing to train
