About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. Opportunity Details: Provide comprehensive Pulmonary, Medical, and Critical Care services across ICU, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Manage complex cardiopulmonary and multisystem critical illness in a high-acuity ICU. Perform and interpret advanced procedures, including bronchoscopy and ventilator management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Teach and mentor Residents and Medical Students in an academic environment.

Requirements

Active and unrestricted NYS medical license.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary/Critical Care.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive Pulmonary, Medical, and Critical Care services across ICU, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Manage complex cardiopulmonary and multisystem critical illness in a high-acuity ICU.
Perform and interpret advanced procedures, including bronchoscopy and ventilator management.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Teach and mentor Residents and Medical Students in an academic environment.

Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $292,000 (Board Eligible); $302,000 (Board Certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $416,720 (Board Eligible) and $427,720 (Board Certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
