About The Position

WVUHS Medical Group seeks a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician. The successful candidate will practice in the primary location of Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV. Duties include practicing in the area of Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine, offering outpatient pulmonary clinic, inpatient pulmonary consults, sleep disorder management, performing bronchoscopies, reading pulmonary function tests, and offering inpatient critical care services.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
• Eligible to obtain state medical license
• Board certified or eligible in pulmonary diseases and Critical Care Medicine
• All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment

Responsibilities

• Practice in the area of Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine
• Offer outpatient pulmonary clinic
• Provide inpatient pulmonary consults
• Manage sleep disorders
• Perform bronchoscopies
• Read pulmonary function tests
• Offer inpatient critical care services
