About The Position

Lovelace Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to join its team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position offers a growth opportunity within a collegial environment, working in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including the MICU and CVICU. The physician will be part of a supportive team and will have access to advanced medical technologies and procedures.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine.
• Experience with ECMO, Impella, and other mechanical circulatory support.
• Certifications in Stroke, BLS, and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Manage patients in the MICU and CVICU.
• Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy, central venous access, arterial catheter placement, and thoracentesis.
• Utilize EBUS and Ion Robotic-assisted bronchoscopy as needed.
• Participate in a schedule that includes 8 ICU shifts per month and additional inpatient/outpatient pulmonary responsibilities.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and advanced practice providers.
