About The Position

UCSF Fresno and Inspire Health Medical Group are seeking a faculty member to join the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. The appointee will provide clinical coverage in the intensive care unit, inpatient pulmonary consult services as well as general outpatient pulmonary practice with opportunity to focus on subspecialties like interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, severe asthma/COPD, upper airway disorders, bronchiectasis/NTM disease. Sleep opportunity is available for interested candidates within an ACGME accredited sleep fellowship program. Other duties include teaching, supervision of trainees and clinical research. UCSF Fresno has residency programs and fellowships across Internal Medicine including Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship. The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program provides clinical care at an affiliate hospital, Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC), a 700-bed Level 1 Trauma Center. Based in Fresno, California, a city with a quality of life that is uniquely Californian, yet surprisingly affordable. Limitless recreational opportunities and spectacular scenery are accessible in a community with abundant affordable housing. While there is much to see and do in Fresno, the city is ideally located for fast, convenient getaways to the majestic Sierras (90 minutes away), the scenic Central Coast, (2 ½ hours away), three national parks, including the renowned Yosemite National Park (1 ½ hours away), San Francisco (3 hours away) and Los Angeles (3 ½ hours away).

Requirements

  • BC Internal Medicine
  • BE/BC Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
  • Eligible to apply for a California Medical License
