About The Position

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in conjunction and partnership with the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking a full-time critical care and emergency medicine physician to expand our clinical footprint in our critical care and emergency services areas. This position will be focused on our acute care areas of critical care and emergency medicine services either at our University of Maryland Medical Center Downtown campus or University of Maryland Midtown Campus. Expected faculty rank for this position is Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank, tenure status and salary will be dependent upon selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. Requirements

• MD/DO degree from a recognized accredited university (or foreign equivalent)
• BE/BC in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine, ideally from an EM/IM/CC residency
• Ability to obtain an independent license to practice Medicine in the State of Maryland
• Strong interest in clinical and teaching activities
