About The Position

Reporting to the Area Supervisor, the Puller / Stocker position is responsible for accurately pulling merchandise orders for the shipping clerks as well as accurately stocking new merchandise that is received at the distribution center. The Puller / Stocker will surprise their customers (stores / shippers) by pulling and stocking merchandise quickly accurately. Desired results will be achieved by executing these core roles.

Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods of time
Excellent computer and customer service skills
Ability to routinely lift up to 40lbs
Environment will be affected by seasonal temperatures

Responsibilities

Has knowledge of zone aisles and bin locations
Has knowledge of bar code audit process
Pulls batches quickly and accurately
Stocks merchandise quickly and accurately
Meets and exceeds line codes per hour benchmarks
Will place merchandise in shipping containers in a manner that avoids damage to product
Understands cycle count process
Always looks for new ways to improve processes
Communicates effectively with supervisor when abnormal events arise
Recognizes co-workers for doing a great job
Maintains an extremely positive attitude on a daily basis
Stays within company dress code
Follows company guidelines on attendance
Always willing to help others
Strives for excellence in everything everyday
Participates in all company and store meetings and functions that is applicable
