About The Position

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Publisher Operations Coordinator to join their team. In this role, the Publisher Operations Coordinator provides operational support to IPS distribution brands. They work closely with the Client Experience team to onboard and offboard new client publishers. The role involves working in systems to help manage metadata, produce sales reporting, and improve inventory operations, and will serve as a point person for training users in these systems. The coordinator also helps identify opportunities to improve efficiency across departments and implement process improvement. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent year for year directly related experience
  • 3 years of experience in marketing, book publishing, book industry, account support, client administration, data management, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Serves as point person for client publisher integrations, terminations, and service additions, communicating with various internal teams, tracking progress, and providing regular updates
  • Facilitates Ingram systems tutorials for onboarding clients and helps oversee new client transition needs
  • Assists with identifying sales, returns, financial discrepancies, and feed issues to accurately answer systems and reporting questions for new and current clients
  • Supports IPS operational needs in conjunction with Publisher Care and DC Operations and helps support operational initiatives (e.g. inventory reduction across client publishers)
  • Assists with inventory management for clients – identifying low stock titles, tracking expected inventory & receipts, upcoming releases with no stock
  • Assists with metadata reviews on a regular basis to ensure metadata is properly distributing to sales partners, escalates issues as needed
  • Assists with assessing metadata health for frontlist titles in order to optimize title records for sell-in
  • Assists with publisher metadata entry into metadata management system CoreSource as needed
  • Maintains resources for client publisher contract information as needed
  • Works daily in various Ingram systems, providing internal and client publisher user training as needed
  • Updates internal and client-facing training documentation as needed
