About The Position

The Publicly Available Information (PAI) Analyst III provides senior-level PAI and OSINT analytic support to Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC/A2). This role integrates publicly available information into Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (IPOE), supporting Special Operations planning, targeting, and mission execution through advanced tradecraft and Intelligence Community methodologies.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience integrating PAI into IPOE development and intelligence production within the last 12 years.
  • Demonstrated mastery of OSINT/PAI tradecraft and Intelligence Community analytic methodologies.
  • Full understanding of PAI integration within ISR-PED and Special Operations intelligence processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 additional years of experience in PAI/OSINT analysis and production.
  • Minimum of 8 years operational experience in PAI/OSINT analysis supporting military or intelligence operations.
  • Experience supporting AFSOC, USSOCOM, or SOF intelligence environments.

Responsibilities

  • Incorporate PAI and OSINT into IPOE development supporting AFSOC intelligence operations.
  • Conduct PAI research and OSINT collection/analysis in support of Command Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Establish, refine, and respond to validated PAI/OSINT requirements in accordance with the Defense Intelligence Analysis Program (DIAP).
  • Provide analytic guidance, mentorship, and tradecraft support through knowledge capture and information sharing.
  • Participate in USAF, USSOCOM, and DoD OSINT/PAI communities of practice, working groups, and conferences to maintain professional networks supporting AFSOC mission needs.
  • Collaborate with other HQ AFSOC analysts to produce classified and unclassified intelligence products.
  • Identify and develop new applications of PAI/OSINT supporting unique AFSOC mission areas, including PED, FID, STS, and Information Operations.
  • Support evaluation of PAI tools, policy development, briefings, and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development.
