About The Position

This posting is for multiple vacancies: Position #s: 60068817, 60068049, 60059041 This position will report to the Security Accountability Section. This position will be responsible for statewide consultation and coordination of the Publications Appeals Program for Offenders and serve as the lead program expert for policy and program questions. This position will manage, and coordinate Category I Offender Publication appeals by conducting independent reviews of each issue or edition of a publication prior to rejection. This position will be responsible for providing notifications to all facilities and offenders in writing detailing the status of all Category I Publications. This position will conduct training with prison personnel in understanding, interpreting and implementing the policies, procedures and goals of the Publications Appeals Program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two (2) years of experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities
