About The Position
The City of Pacifica is recruiting for a Public Works Project Manager within the Department of Public Works. Under direction of the City Engineer, the incumbents will be responsible to assist the Public Works Department and Field Services staff. This individual will have the responsibility for assisting project management workload off Field Services staff and enabling catch-up on field services projects. This is a full-time, management position that requires significant independence, initiative, and discretion within established guidelines. Typical projects that will be under the responsibility could include, but not limited to: street reconstruction, resurfacing and repair; intersection improvements and sidewalk repairs; parking lot construction, reconstruction and maintenance, including resurfacing, striping and sealing; park improvement projects, including landscape, pathways, and playgrounds; facilities projects, including HVAC, electrical, and tenant improvements.
