About The Position
The position involves complex professional work planning, organizing, directing, and administering the activities of the Public Works Department, which includes street maintenance, building maintenance, stormwater program, fleet maintenance, solid waste collections, and construction project management. The role requires setting policies and goals, and exercising departmental supervision over all personnel. The individual will manage construction contracts, oversee project management for municipal public works projects, and coordinate with various stakeholders to develop programs and implement projects addressing public works issues.
