About The Position
Under general direction of the Public Works Supervisor, leads, trains, oversees, and participates in the more complex and difficult work of a crew engaged in traffic operations, the maintenance, repair, and construction of public works projects and related facilities; sets priorities and directs the work of assigned staff on a project or day-to-day basis; skillfully operates heavy equipment; performs a variety of technical tasks; and provides technical and specialized assistance to the Public Works Supervisor. This is a non-exempt position. Essential functions are the basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.
