The Federal Funding Account, administered by the Commission, is a $2 billion grant program for last-mile broadband infrastructure projects to connect unserved Californians in accordance with 2021's Senate Bill 156. Under the direction of the Program & Project Supervisor, the PURA II will work as part of a team of analysts to implement and administer the Federal Funding Account grant program to fund last-mile infrastructure projects. The role involves evaluating and analyzing grant applications, conducting economic, policy, and/or technical analyses, and presenting research findings and recommendations both orally and in writing. The position also requires preparing materials for discussions in meetings, workshops, and conferences.
