About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a part-time Public Space Cleaner to join our team at The Westin Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. As a Public Space Cleaner, you will be key member of the housekeeping team helping to create great guest experience by keeping the property clean and sanitized.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 6 months experience in custodial and related services preferred.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and clean facilities including bathrooms, carpets, walls, windows, break rooms, offices and all other duties as assigned.
• Pressure washes concrete surfaces to remove dirt and chewing gum, etc.
• Stock closets and replenish paper products in the restrooms and empty trash, replace liners, dusting, etc.
• Reports any visible defects to his/her supervisor and implements process improvements.
• Respond to guest inquiries providing accurate courteous information.
• Follow safety rules and keep work areas in clean and orderly condition and train in safety awareness.
• Follow safety and environmental business practices and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• All other duties assigned by management.
