Public Service Attendant (Summer & Extended Season Outdoor Pools)
About The Position
Under general direction, provides assistance to facility guests and staff in preparation for or during City events in other facilities during the summer and extended outdoor pool season. Working conditions are primarily in an indoor or outdoor environment depending on location. Exercises no supervision. This position is an "unclassified" position and has no disciplinary appeal rights to the Municipal Civil Service Commission. This position is likewise subject to at-will employment status and can be terminated at any time for any reason.
Requirements
- Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
Responsibilities
- Checks in and out swimmers' clothing.
- Operates the locker room, cleans, and maintains the lobby, restroom, dressing rooms, and other areas of the bathhouse as directed.
- Cleans weight and lifeguard rooms.
- Takes out trash.
- Secures property for overnight.
- Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
