About The Position

The Public Sector Contract Analyst role at Boston Consulting Group involves supporting the development, execution, and administration of subcontract and vendor agreements specifically for federal and state/local government projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of subcontracts, sub-awards, and purchasing from inception through closeout.
  • Ideally has 3 years of experience in prime contract and subcontract administration, government services, contract law, or related field.
  • Knowledge of contract and subcontract principles and fundamentals, FAR/DFARS, and associated U.S. Government regulations is strongly desired.
  • Exhibits strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, execution, administration, modification, and closeout of subcontract and vendor agreements.
  • Draft and execute NDAs, teaming agreements, and other documentation in coordination with BCG Legal and other internal business functions.
  • Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), evaluate proposals, and conduct cost/price analyses.
  • Manage and negotiate directly with subcontractors.
  • Ensure subcontract and vendor agreements comply with government laws and regulations, agency-specific requirements, company policies, and contract requirements.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks to contract leads.
  • Coordinate with BCG's finance department in administering subcontract invoicing and payments, project/job cost management, and closeout process.
  • Maintain organized, well-documented, audit-ready, and compliant electronic files for BCG's public sector practices.
  • Track and monitor subcontractor deliverables and conduct periodic reviews to ensure milestones are met.
  • Perform screening, sanctions, and compliance checks on subcontractors and vendors.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for vendors in BCG systems.
  • Assist in preparation of data for recurring government reporting requirements and ad hoc audit requests.
  • Conduct special projects as assigned, such as analyzing contract administration procedures and identifying ways to eliminate bottlenecks.
