About The Position

In this role, Spurwink Clinicians provide individual and family therapy in a school setting. Home and community-based sessions are also offered as needed. This position is year-round and is located at MSAD 11 Elementary Schools. Spurwink prioritizes quality supervision for clinicians, using a blend of individual and group formats to meet the licensing requirements and professional development needs. Access to training of evidence-based treatment modalities is part of the Spurwink experience. A generous allowance is provided for therapy supplies, external trainings, and license reimbursement.

Requirements

  • All applicants must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling, and Maine Licensure (LMSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC-c, or LCPC).

Nice To Haves

  • Fully licensed strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and providing individual and family therapy.
  • Provide updates on treatment progress for managed care entries, clinical documentation, and electronic record keeping.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration and strong networking skills are essential.
