In this role, Spurwink Clinicians provide individual and family therapy in a school setting, with community-based sessions also offered as needed. This position is year-round and is located at Kennebunk Elementary and Mildred L Day Middle School. Spurwink prioritizes quality supervision for clinicians, utilizing a blend of individual and group formats to meet licensing requirements and professional development needs. Clinicians have access to training in evidence-based treatment modalities, which is an integral part of the Spurwink experience. Additionally, a generous allowance is provided for therapy supplies, external trainings, and license reimbursement. The Fee for Service positions have a minimum billing expectation of 4 hours per day. MaineCare reimbursement rates range from $58.20 to $75.02 per clinical hour for conditionally and independently licensed clinicians, while private insurance rates vary depending on the payer and licensure. Staff meetings, supervision, and training are compensated at a competitive rate. Fee for Service clinicians will receive a weekly stipend for the first 6 weeks of employment while they grow their caseload, which will be paid in addition to any training, supervision, or billable hours accumulated during that time period.
