Overview The Public Safety & Transportation Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and logistical coordination support to the Public Safety & Transportation Department at the Miami Beach Convention Center and City Center Campus. This role supports daily department operations, event readiness, transportation logistics, safety documentation, and interdepartmental coordination. The Coordinator works closely with department leadership to track action items, maintain documentation, support event logistics and operational readiness, and help ensure effective communication across internal teams, vendors, and City partners. This role does not include supervisory or disciplinary responsibilities. The Coordinator supports departmental operations and executes tasks under the direction of department leadership. This position serves as an extension of departmental leadership to support organization, consistency, and operational follow-through across Public Safety, Transportation, and Safety initiatives. This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00-$28.00 Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays) This position will remain open until May 29, 2026.
