About The Position
The Public Safety Training Specialist at the City of Virginia Beach is responsible for developing and enhancing fire and life safety education programs aimed at diverse groups within the community. This role involves evaluating program effectiveness, creating innovative safety materials, and conducting educational outreach to promote fire prevention and safety initiatives. The specialist will also provide training to department personnel and assist with car seat installation education as a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician.
