About The Position

Public Safety Officer Main Campus Full Time, Day Shift 7am to 7pm / Every Other Weekend JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for a variety of routine safety and emergency security activities while safeguarding students, employees, visitors, patients and property. First responder to all emergency incidents within the assigned facility. Responsible for the safe de-escalation of critical events and the use of sound judgment in the engagement with combative or escalating subjects.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Two years of experience in general security, military or other public safety experience preferred
• Valid Drivers license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy
