As you monitor situations on and off campus, you help ensure a safe environment for all. Position: Public Safety Officer Shift: Days, Evenings, Nights, various shifts available. Weekend rotations required.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to think independently yet listen to and work with a team.
- Ability to maintain confidential information and handle confidential matters.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
- High school diploma required.
- Valid drivers license and good driving record for the last 3 years.
- Must be certified or eligible for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Lethal Weapons Training Certification (Act 235).
- Must complete Managing of Aggressive Behavior or MOAB parts 1, 2 & 3 within 4 months of employment.
