This Public Safety Officer position is committed to providing World Class Service for the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The Public Safety Officer position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security for the venue & all events. Special security assignments may be available during non-event days/nights. The security team is a provider of direct service to our guests and must always exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor. This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00-$18.00 Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays). This position will remain open until May 8, 2026. About the Venue The Palm Beach County Convention Center is a multi-purpose facility in West Palm Beach, Florida, managed by the Oak View Group. The Center features a 100,000 square-foot exhibit hall, a 22,000 square-foot ballroom and 21,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, as well as connecting to the 400-room Hilton West Palm Beach.
