The Public Safety Officer protects life and property of all individuals on campus; and protects College property and equipment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to patrolling grounds and buildings (including watch-clock rounds), enforcing the safe and proper conduct of all individuals on campus, ensuring compliance with traffic and parking regulations, assisting all persons with College business, providing security coverage for special events at the College (i.e.; athletic events), policing all college areas and reporting on hazardous or any unusual conditions, monitoring areas of responsibility for cleanliness, cooperating with all law enforcement investigations which are related to criminal activities at or around the College, and performing additional tasks or duties as assigned by the shift Public Safety Sergeant or other designated management.
