Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and SambaSafety risk scores.
  • At least 1 year of security or customer service experience required.
  • Must be 21 years old .
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, occasionally run or climb stairs, restrain individuals as part of a team, and lift 50+ lbs.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol hospital entrances, units, parking areas, and grounds to deter hazards and ensure safety.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras, access control points, and alarm systems.
  • Respond to calls for assistance, providing escorts, directions, and support to staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Enforce safety and security policies, including weapons screening and access control.
  • Assist with emergency response, crowd control, and incident coordination with clinical teams.
  • Conduct inspections of emergency exits, equipment, and life safety systems.
  • Document incidents and maintain accurate activity logs.
  • Participate in required training—including CPR, Narcan, Stop the Bleed, and de-escalation.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for all individuals.
