About The Position

The Public Safety Officer I position at Mercy Healthcare System is responsible for providing fire, safety, and security protection for coworkers, patients, and visitors. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid State driver's license.
• Valid local, state, or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (to be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Complete Basic 16-hour Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire (may be done as part of licensure).
• Ability to read and write the English language.

Nice To Haves

• College degree.
• Previous Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience.
