About The Position
The Public Safety Officer, Armed is responsible for a variety of routine safety and emergency security activities while safeguarding students, employees, visitors, patients, and property. This role involves being the first responder to all emergency incidents within the assigned facility. The officer is tasked with the safe de-escalation of critical events and must use sound judgment when engaging with combative or escalating subjects.
