About The Position

MCC is a Public Safety Answering Point. PSDs answer 9-1-1 calls, public, and allied agency calls, and make outgoing calls to service providers, allied agencies and the public. PSDs operate voice radio to dispatch and interact with field personnel. PSDs complete data entry into various databases. This classification requires a certified typing speed of 40 words per minute.

Requirements

• Certified typing speed of 40 words per minute.
• Pass a Drug Screening prior to being hired.
• Clear a Background Investigation prior to being hired.
• Obtain Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
• Clear a Psychological Evaluation prior to being hired.
