About The Position
The Public Safety Dispatcher position involves dispatching for four CHP Areas, answering 9-1-1, Allied Agency, and business telephone calls using the VESTA telephone system, and documenting information from the calls and/or units in the field into a CAD system. The position is located at the Inland Communications Center (ICC) within the new Inland Empire Traffic Management Center (IETMC) in Fontana, California. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and security of the public by providing timely and accurate dispatch services.
