About The Position

The Public Safety Data Analyst II position, also known in similar industries as a Data Analyst, Crime Analyst, Operations Analyst, Data Scientist, or Business Intelligence Analyst will serve as a data subject matter expert, working closely with 9-1-1 and 311 operations and administrative staff to analyze public safety data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights that drive decision-making at all levels. This position will have the opportunity to lead and support projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, service delivery, and policy development.

Requirements

• Experience in public safety policy and procedure.
• Experience in trend analysis.
• Experience in report automation.
• Experience in project management.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing data-driven projects to support emergency communications.
• Conducting in-depth research and statistical analysis.

• Presenting actionable findings to leadership to enhance decision-making.
• Supervising and mentoring subordinate staff.
