About The Position
Gensler New York is seeking a creative, motivated and collaborative individual to join our office as the New York Public Relations Specialist. Working in one of the firm's largest and most dynamic offices, you will be an integral part of the New York PR & Communications team, helping communicate our firm's unique approach and how it differentiates us from our competition. A proven storyteller, the ideal candidate has a passion for design and views communications as a people-centered activity. Reporting directly to the NY PR & Communications Leader, you will simultaneously manage multiple deliverables with strategic thinking - underscored by a solid understanding of the local design and real estate markets. You will be responsible for media outreach and identifying engaging stories to a wide range of reporters; speaking engagements; thought leadership; and special projects. You will also collaborate closely with the NE Communications & Content Manager on awards programs and social media.
