About The Position

As a Public Relations Specialist, you will coordinate media opportunities—including photo shoots, filming, interviews, and events—while writing and distributing press materials and proactively pitching our unique amenities. You'll also begin developing strategic skills to support larger media campaigns.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in Journalism, Public Relations or Communications
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Independent evaluation of introductory media requests and recommendations
• Independent management of basic filming, photo shoots and media interactions
• Independent drafting of press releases and related documents
• Provide property tours to media
• Contribute meaningful content to brainstorming sessions and meetings
• Manage basic assignments independently
• Initial property meetings with supervisor
• Introductory pitch development
• Begin developing editing skills
• Learn introductory requirements of executive interview process
• Clip distribution to property partners
