About The Position
This is public information and promotional work at the full performance level in an operating department or at the City Representative's Office. Employees in this class prepare and disseminate informational and public relations material. Work includes arranging for the presence of representatives of the news media at departmental exhibits and special events. Contact with departmental and mass communications media personnel is a significant aspect of the work. Work is performed under the direction of a technical superior.
