We're looking for a detail-oriented, multi-tasker to join our right-brained ALLO marketing team. We need you to show us you can juggle, organize, and build relationships both internally and with our external partners and community members. You may have heard our internet is crazy-fast, possibly only outmatched by the hustle of this team. Things don't move slowly in our fiberhoods, we need someone who can keep up. You will work closely with the marketing team to execute a variety of tasks within marketing, social media, sales, public relations, event coordination, and internal communication, to name a few. The world of technology and ALLO is constantly evolving, you won't be expected to exhibit transformation skills in the interview, but we will want to hear about your ability to adapt, flex, and pivot as needed. Knowledge and experience are essential, but character is just as important. We look for those who show a natural inclination for our core values: Local, Honest, Exceptional, and Hassle-Free.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in applicable field of study.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, events, sales, and/or public relations.
  • Telecommunications experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Remain cool under pressure.
  • Highly organized.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate others to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Goal-oriented with an ability to motivate and inspire.
  • Creative and adaptable problem solver.
  • Open to new ideas and feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Hustle hard on the day-to-day execution of events, sponsorships, and local involvement.
  • Collaborate with the team and ensure effective communication.
  • Take notes, send agendas, and assign tasks to team members for event execution.
  • Keep event calendars up to date using Outlook.
  • Establish project timelines to ensure key milestones are met.
  • Monitor sales performance related to events.
  • Assist residential and business sales teams in achieving sales goals.
  • Fulfill the role of MDU account manager in applicable markets.
  • Engage with customers in ALLO offices to build relationships.
  • Provide support and backup coverage for market storefronts.
  • Participate in community events and activities.
  • Support cross-regional events and activities.
  • Assist the Social Media team in gathering content from events.
