About The Position

We are seeking an entry level Public Relations & Communications Assistant to join our growing team. The Public Relations & Communications Assistant plays a key role in supporting the development and execution of strategic communication initiatives, promotional campaigns, and brand events, while serving as a key liaison between the organization, clients, and the public. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Writing, Multimedia, or a related field preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in PR, marketing, communications, customer service, or events preferred (not required for strong entry-level candidates)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Confident public speaking and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative PR and marketing ideas

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in developing and executing strategic marketing and public relations plans with business partners
  • Support the planning and execution of PR campaigns, brand initiatives, and promotional events
  • Serve as a day-to-day client contact and brand ambassador, ensuring clear and professional communication
  • Contribute creative ideas to generate media coverage, influencer engagement, and brand visibility
  • Assist the event team in coordinating on-site and off-site events and activations
  • Monitor industry trends and news, providing insights and actionable recommendations
  • Support internal and external communications across multiple departments
  • Help maintain consistent brand messaging across all platforms
