About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support our public relations efforts and contribute to enhancing our brand's visibility and reputation. As the first point of contact for media inquiries and public communications, you will assist in crafting press releases, managing media lists, and coordinating events that promote our organization’s initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with PR tools and software, including media monitoring and analytics platforms.
Basic understanding of current public relations trends and media landscape.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and disseminating press materials including press releases, media kits, and fact sheets.
Manage and update the media contact list to ensure accurate distribution of press materials.
Coordinate logistics for events, including press conferences, product launches, and promotional activities.
Monitor media coverage and compile reports to evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
Research industry trends and best practices to inform public relations strategies and initiatives.
Support social media efforts by drafting content and engaging with audiences to enhance brand presence.
