About the Role: We’re looking for a Public Policy intern to support the team, situated within the Privacy & Public Policy organization. The team is globally distributed and integral to CrowdStrike’s corporate and technology strategy.

Requirements

  • By the beginning of the internship, interns must have completed at least 3 years at a 4-year undergraduate university not graduating prior to the end of the internship
  • Either advanced studies in Political Science, Security Studies, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar advanced studies.
  • Must be highly organized self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Be flexible, professional, and open to learning
  • Effective team player with the ability to meet project deadlines and exceptional attention to detail.
  • An interest in public policy (specifically technology policy), international policy, and legislative affairs.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and prepare briefings on cyber and/ or AI related legislation relevant to the team
  • Support a variety of policy projects and engagements
  • Attend and prepare summaries of hearings, meetings, and policy discussions
  • Complete both long- and short-term research projects on a variety of topics
  • Learn about CrowdStrike’s policy public engagements and strategy
