The purpose of the Public Health Research Administrator position is to support Wabanaki Center for Knowledge and Innovation and WPHW programs by developing, overseeing, and managing evidence-based public health research and data activities, and adapting these practices to facilitate development of Indigenous frameworks and methods. This includes guiding the design of data collection tools and activities; guiding the development of quantitative data analysis; and building organizational and community capacity for research and evaluation. This position will also ensure that grant goals and milestones are achieved, and relationships with funding institutions and communities are maintained. The successful candidate will have experience with secure and ethically sound data storage procedures; experience with research methods with historically diverse, underserved, and/or underrepresented communities; and will demonstrate capacity for cultural humility and competence.
