About The Position
This position will support the Health Equity Unit in maintaining its long-standing relationship with Austin's Hispanic/Latinx community while building new connections. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Hispanic/Latinx community and culture, proven experience delivering public health services to this community, and strong skills in community engagement. Additionally, this role will lead the planning and coordination of the unit's signature event, Fiesta de Salud. The candidate should demonstrate innovative approaches to connecting with the community, sustaining engagement, and a genuine passion for social justice.
