One Health is seeking a Public Health Nurse to deliver high-quality care, promote wellness, and lead health initiatives across Central Montana. This role blends clinical expertise with community engagement—empowering individuals and families to live healthier lives. Location: Home base is Lewistown, MT however, this position is part of the Central Montana Health District sector of which serves 5 surrounding counties. Schedule: Full-time | Flexible Hours | Travel Required Salary: $34.55-$36.07/hr DOE Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do: Assess community health trends and risks through targeted evaluations and data analysis. Investigate communicable diseases using public health surveillance and contact tracing methods. Administer immunizations in the office and at community clinics, ensuring proper documentation and patient education. Educate individuals, families, and groups with tailored health promotion and disease prevention strategies. Collaborate with local agencies and partners to develop and deliver impactful health programs. Advocate for vulnerable populations and contribute to health policy development. Respond to public health emergencies and participate in preparedness planning and drills. Why Join Us? Requirements

  • Registered Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Current RN license
  • Valid driver’s license
  • BLS Certification
  • National Incident Management System/Incident Command System (NIMS/ICS) 100, 200, and 700a certification within four (4) months of employment
