About The Position
This position supports the California Department of Public Health's (CDPH) mission and strategic plan within the PHM Training Program and Laboratory Animal Services Section scientific and Technical Support Services Section by processing and preparing specimens and samples for examination by microbiologists. The Public Health Microbiology (PHM) Laboratory Technician provides laboratory and office support to the trainers, trainees, and partners of the PHM Training Program, which aims to develop and maintain the workforce for the CDPH Laboratories and California Public Health Laboratory Network.
