About The Position

The Public Health Director is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of public health services in Montrose County. This role involves administering and enforcing public health laws and standards set by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and the County. The director assesses health factors, communicates health issues to the public, manages the Public Health Division, and oversees the public health budget while providing leadership for public health improvement activities.

Requirements
