About The Position
The Public Health Laboratory Technician performs high complexity sample analysis in accordance with the current environmental/biological scope and/or accredited under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Program (CLIP). This role involves performing high complexity tests authorized by the Clinical Laboratory Senior Scientist, completing demonstrations of capabilities as dictated by the laboratory, and following all laboratory policies and Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs). The technician is responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and reporting test results, adhering to quality control policies, and documenting all activities related to test performance.
