About The Position
Davenport is seeking a Public Finance Analyst to join our Richmond, VA office. Our Public Finance department provides financial advisory services to cities, counties, public authorities and not for profit corporations in the mid-Atlantic region who borrow in the tax-exempt bond markets. This Public Finance Analyst position will involve working with senior advisors in the Public Finance department on a broad range of projects including: preparation of proposals and offering statements, analysis of financing options, preparation of client reports and presentations, and quantitative analysis and financial research. There will be a heavy emphasis on quantitative analysis using available programs and templates, evaluating strategic options, comparison of financial and economic data, and design of presentation material.
