About The Position

The house person/public areas will be responsible for stripping rooms, maintaining hallways, and ensuring public spaces are neat and tidy. Working directly with the front desk and housekeeping manager to ensure the spaces are kept clean.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

  • Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas
  • Primary focus is public spaces and ensuring those spaces are cleaned daily.
  • Strip linens & trash from guest rooms
  • Stock closets and housekeeping carts
  • Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards when needed
  • Refurnish the room with supplies, towels etc.
  • Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
